These awards are presented by Classic Instruments to the top five street rods of the year, then they pick the winner from the top five.

Although we did not achieve the highest award this year, just being picked as a top five finalist is incredible and a great honor.

Also, get ready for the Goodguys Autocross Challenge. Friday and Saturday at 9AM until Noon AND 2PM until 3PM you can take the challenge and put your Street Rod, Street Machine or Truck through the paces and test your driving skills to see how your car can handle in a performance situation! The course will be laid out inside the event venue and will have plenty of turns and curves to test even the best-tuned suspension and skills.

As if that’s not enough, on top of all the Vendor & Manufacturer Exhibits, the huge Swap Meet, and the Cars 4 Sale Corral, there will be over 7,000 Hot Rods, Customs, Classics, Muscle Cars, and Trick Trucks thru ’72 featured at this year’s event. There will also be a Poker Run, Goodgals Gallery, Hot Rod Seminars, and more.

The weather was gorgeous throughout most of the event; it was a great idea to change the dates of the event from the normal late June to the end of May. (Normally it’s so hot that  your sandals melt to the pavement!)

We had a blast at the Advanced Plating Kickoff Party and the tour of the business was fantastic!
